HNT26 CHASSIS SYSTEM

MDT Chassis Systems were initially crafted for sports and tactical shooting. However, as time passed, we noticed a growing trend of hunters gravitating towards our lighter chassis, particularly the LSS Chassis system. Despite this, we had yet to create a chassis system explicitly tailored for hunting – until now.

Introducing the MDT HNT26 Chassis System, our inaugural purpose-built hunting rifle chassis. This stock retains all the hallmark benefits expected from a chassis system, including v-block bedding, Length of Pull (LOP) and comb adjustment, and AICS magazine compatibility. Remarkably, it achieves this while starting at a mere 26 ounces for our standard fixed version.

Constructed from a magnesium alloy rifle stock/base, complemented by a carbon fiber forend, pistol grip, and a foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock, the MDT HNT26 Chassis embodies lightweight durability. With the rising popularity of ARCA tripods among hunters, we offer options for a carbon fiber forend with an integral ARCA rail, as well as a foldable buttstock version for convenient storage.

DESIGNED FOR THE HUNT

MDT presents its first purpose-built hunting chassis, crafted from lightweight carbon fiber and offering folding stock and ARCA forend options. Starting at just 26 ounces (for chassis stock, buttstock, forend, and pistol grip combined), it stands as the epitome of ultra-light rifle chassis.

WHEN POUNDS EQUAL PAIN

Utilizing magnesium and carbon fiber – two top-tier, lightweight materials – the HNT26 Chassis delivers exceptional weight reduction, starting at only 26 ounces for the total package. The folding and ARCA options slightly increase weight to approximately 31 ounces.

COMFORTABLE REGARDLESS OF WEATHER

Carbon fiber touch points on the HNT26 Chassis not only contribute to weight savings but also eliminate the “cold to the touch” sensation often experienced with metal materials in extreme conditions.

REDUCED FELT RECOIL

Thanks to its foam-filled carbon buttstock, the HNT26 Chassis effectively dampens vibration and felt recoil, enhancing shot stability and follow-up accuracy.

DESIGNED TO BE SNAG-FREE

Every aspect of the HNT26 rifle stock is meticulously crafted to minimize snag points, from its smoother, less aggressive shape to the seamless integration of the magazine latch into the trigger guard. This chassis system is truly designed with the hunter in mind.

Created in tandom with the MDT HNT26, the .308/6.5 Creedmoor MDT Polymer AICS 3 Round Magazine was designed to sit flush in the MDT HNT26’s magwell. The completely removes any possibility of your mag getting in the way while you hike through the bush.
