Continued support for the reloading community Vihtavuori has been recognized around the globe as the core of many of the world’s most renowned cartridges for a century. Today, Vihtavuori Powders is stronger than ever and has become a household name for every serious competitive shooter, accuracy enthusiast, and hunter who handloads their ammunition. Although the business has had its share of difficult challenges and threats, we have persevered every time. Even today, we are facing challenges. Due to the current high demand for our products and the prevailing market conditions impacted especially by the Ukraine situation, the availability of our products is limited and delivery times have unfortunately become extended. The ongoing crisis in Ukraine has caused a highly increased demand for products for the military sector, and in order to support the freedom of the Western world, we need to prioritize the needs of the defence forces. Still, we want to serve you, our customers, and the reloading community worldwide, as best as we can. We have been working hard to improve product availability already for a couple of years, during which the powder production capacity has increased by over 50%. This has been realised mainly by increasing working shifts and recruiting more personnel. We are striving to streamline and optimize our product portfolio, and therefore powders N32C, N105 and N530 have been discontinued. There are also major investments ongoing to
the process equipment and capacity, such as the new primer factory scheduled to open in Vihtavuori in 2025. As we begin our 101st year of producing the best smokeless powder on the planet, know that we work hard every day to bring you the accuracy you deserve.
